To understand “Dao” as the core of Tao Te Ching is to put the cart before the horse. “Dao” is only the theoretical basis for “loving the people and governing the country”, while “doing nothing” is the core. Those who understand “Tao” as law are trapped by name. Law is man’s partial cognition of all things. There is no law without all things, and “Tao” comes before all things. The way is understood by metaphysicians as unknowable. The sage “does not come from the door to know the world;Don’t peep in you, to know the way of Heaven “;”Tao” is understood as “unspeakable”, which is the Way of Buddhism. “Speech and tao are broken”, so there is no need to talk about how to preach and spread the Dharma. “Nianhua Yi Laugh” is just an inspirational story. It is a Taoist saying to understand “Tao” as the master of all things, and “Tao” can supplement the nature of all things and give priority to Buddha. Those who regard “wu” as the fundamental method of understanding “Tao” tend to be inclined to religious teachings. Huineng, the sixth ancestor, was a woodcutter, and Wang Yangming and Longchang realized “Tao” were all invented to publicize the sacredness of “Tao”, which belong to the feeling mode and personal experience of religious people. It is true that “flourishing of both overflowing and overflowing” is understood as “flourishing and flourishing of overflowing and flourishing of overflowing”. Both overflowing and flourishing are simultaneously presented and everything is a unification of the opposites of flourishing and flourishing. It is not said that the “gems” in the porcelain are not gems.It is an overgeneralization to understand “desire” as “greed”, “abstinence is good”, “abstinence is good”, “abstinence is good”, “abstinence is good”, “abstinence is good”, “abstinence is good”.It is a layman who understands the Tao of nature as imitating nature, and the Tao follows the nature of all things. It is a religious saying to interpret “doing nothing” as doing nothing. “doing nothing” refers to doing things in the initial state of “nothing”, which emphasizes the source governance of prevention and control. It is the forced implantation of self-cultivation culture to understand “dealing with things without doing” as “dealing with things without arguing”. “Dealing with things without doing” involves governing behavior rather than dealing with things without arguing.”Non-contention” is understood as the virtue of “standing aloof from worldly affairs”, which is the moral cultivation culture of ethics. “Non-contention” means that the person of power “knows his male and guards his female” and does not fight with the people. To understand “doing nothing but doing everything” as directed at the same subject is a self-contradictory trouble seeking, whose original intention is “I do nothing but the people transform themselves” and “doing everything”;The “not on the xian” is understood as opposed to meritocracy, is the dirty good planting of Lao Zi thought, imperial culture definition of “virtuous”, is bound to cause the world to contend for favor and benefit, so “not on the xian” is involved in the “xian” by who definition of the problem; The “goodness” in Tao Te Ching is interpreted as benevolence and goodness, which is a sauce jar culture mixed with Buddhism, Confucianism and Taoism. The understanding of “heaven and earth are not benevolent” as “heaven and earth are not benevolent” is taken out of context. Laozi’s original intention is that heaven and earth have no hierarchical concept of “affinity is different”, which does not involve benevolence.Otherwise, “love the people and govern the country”, “one day kindness” and “people return filial piety kindness” said; Those who understand “the superior goodness is like water” as “the highest level of goodness is like water” not only ignore the subject “sage” behind the metaphorical “water”, but also misinterpret Laozi’s thought as the enlightenment of rites and music. The original meaning of “the superior goodness” is “the authority who is best at governing”.The understanding of “water is good for all things” as praise of the good of water, is a distortion of the theme of Lao Tzu, is good and evil, Lao Tzu just borrow water “good for all things” to state its “not to contend with” virtue;Laozi thought is understood as a negative “born” proposition, is the distortion of Laozi’s thoughts on the practice of the world, full of “sage” “King”, “do nothing” and “take the world”, “to the heart of the people”, “love the people”, is said to the hermit listen to it?It is a standard cultivation culture implantation to understand “knowing the male and guarding the female” as keeping weak and not fighting with others. The original intention is that the person with power knows he is strong, but he can not fight under it.It is the legalists, not the Taoists, who interpret the theory of “fixing what one desires to take” as machiavellianism. Its original intention is to use natural phenomena to discuss the evolution of things “how they will be, how they must be before”, rather than the conspiracy theory of “what you want, you must first be”.Understanding the thought of “a small country with few people” as anti-science and anti-civilization is a malicious slander to Lao Zi.”A small country with few people” assumes that if there is proper power, there is no conflict with the people, there is no war to plunder resources, and the people live and work in peace and contentment, the people will not be uprooted from their homes. The understanding of “those who know speak and those who speak know” as “those who know don’t say what they know and don’t know what they say” has purely become a synonym for philosophical preservation. Its original intention is that those who know the power of “Tao” do not easily issue political decrees (the practice of teaching without speaking), and those who do not know “Tao” frequently. It is the cultivation culture of Confucianism to understand “accomplishment and retreat” as “retirement after accomplishment”, rather than the Taoist thought of “not taking credit”, which is “for the sake of fu have, success and Fu ju also”.The Chinese language and characters are understood as “hands pointing to the moon”, which is a typical case of Interpreting the Tao by Buddha. The so-called “non-writing” refers to that zen masters and disciples pass on their words from heart to heart, regardless of the numerous buddhist scriptures. As far as the Tao Te Ching is concerned, there is no transparent text interpretation, so “serious” will be misread, not to mention what cultivation.
